Love in Action: Our First Outreach of 2026 in San Bernardino

RCCGKA FIRST OUTREACH FOR 2026

On Sunday, 11th January 2026, our Outreach Team stepped out for our first outreach of the year in the church’s environment within the San Bernardino corridor and what a powerful day it was!

We are deeply grateful to God for the volunteers who joined our team, and the palpable joy, zeal, and humility with which everyone served. For instance, watching our team members arrange care packages for the needy, share meals, and reach out with humility, was a subtle reminder that ministry is simply love in action!

“And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem… and she constrained him to eat bread…”- 2 Kings 4:8 (KJV)

In the same way the Shunammite woman made room for God’s servant, Elisha; we are daily reminded that serving others with an open heart brings joy and invites God’s blessings.

During the outreach, the homeless were served warm meals, received care packages (consisting of basic necessities and snacks), and received used clothes and shoes.

Our outreach mission remains crystal clear: to let our neighbours know that God still loves them, sees them, and has not forgotten them, despite the predicament or challenges they might be going through at the moment.

Dear friend, if you’ve been undecided or simply foot-dragging about joining a faith-based outreach, this is your sign and warm invitation. We urge you to come serve with us. God needs you as His representative on earth to reach out to the needy and the lost, and as you harken to His call, be rest assured of His presence and intervention in your life.

We urge you to remember these precious souls in your daily prayers by pondering on these prayers points that reflect their present needs:

1️⃣ That God will break every chain keeping them on the streets.

2️⃣ That many will be reunited with their families.

3️⃣ That God will send destiny helpers to rewrite their stories.

Finally, we want to thank the RCCGKA leadership for their trust and support for this noble ministry. We also thank everyone who stepped out to serve during our outreach. We greatly appreciate those who picked up supplies from the food bank and members who gave financially. May the good Lord prosper everyone, and may His blessings never depart from your household, Amen.
