Sermon Title: Invitation to the Secret Place

SERMON NOTES

1. The secret place of the Most High is a real place. It is not a physical location, church, prayer closet, shrine or holy land.

2. The secret place of the Most High is the heart of God. It is the place of faith and love in God.

3. The secret place of the most High is the place of obedience and trust in the mercy of God.

4. It is a secret place not because it is hard to find, but because very few find it and are in it.

5. The secret place is an open secret because only a few would strive to find it.

6. The secret place is the heart of God. It is where you know the future and access God’s blueprint of events.

WHY IT IS AN OPEN SECRET AND WHY ONLY FEW PEOPLE CAN FIND IT

1. It is because only a few are genuinely hungry for the Lord. Psalm 91:1 (KJV)

2. There are only a few people that are truly seeking God.

3. The secret place is a place of self-realisation. There, you find yourself, and your purpose. Isaiah 6: 1-8 (KJV)

4. It is a place of total and absolute surrender to God. Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)

5. It is a place to obtain mercy and grace. Lamentations 3:22 (KJV)

6. It is a place of empowerment, power and fire. Acts 1:8 (KJV)

7. It is a place of supernatural transfer.

8. The secret place is a place of wisdom.

9. It is a place to be forgiven and to forgive. Acts 7:49 (KJV)

10. It is a place of testimony and great joy.

11. The secret place is a place of victory and advantage.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord, take me to your secret place.

2. Lord, may I not be a visitor in the secret place.

3. Lord, give me the grace to wait on You in the secret place.
